I'm not your average girl. I enjoy art galleries and drama games. I much prefer surrealism over any other type of art. And musicals over most other types of plays. I don't have set religious views, and I don't care if you do either. Politics bore me, and I will not sit for hours and discuss them with you. I support gay, bi, and lesbian couples, though I am none of the aforementioned. Narrowminded people, please leave, I don't want you here. If you talk about me behind my back, you can be sure that I won't stoop to your level. I take too many pictures and I laugh too loud at insignificant things. Tell me I'm loud and I'll talk louder. Tell me I'm weird and I'll show you how weird I can be. One day I'll be on stage, don't tell me I'll never make it, because I will. I don't want to hear your hardships or your horror stories, just to get me to stop something. I want your approval that I'm willing to learn these things on my own. I am my own person, no one else's. Don't tell me I'm sappy or I'm whipped. Don't call me a whore or a slut. I refuse to conform to your stereotypes and I refuse to be your lap-dog. I may not be the prettiest girl in the world, but I have people who love me for who I am. I find pleasure in the little things. I can express my life in icons and song lyrics. I'm honest and critical. I'm imperfect, but I can be wonderful. I put the happiness of others, especially those close to me, before my own. Why do I do this? Because seeing them happy means more to me then being completely happy myself.
